Queenstown trip

Nick and I took a week off and went to Queenstown - it was great. We had received in the mail an invitation to stay at the new Sofitel hotel at a bargain price but we had to go to a sales pitch for a kind of holiday club / timeshare and it was definitely worth it. The hotel was first rate - I thought that the flatscreen tv above the bath was a nice touch but of course you couldn't hear it if you turned the jacuzzi on. You get the picture... Anyway I was too tired to ski but Nick had three good days up and I found things to do - massage one day, went on a deer park tour another day. The weather was mostly great and we spent a couple of evenings with Rowley - even got to see the wee hut he's living in.
